Entering Commands

The command palette can be used to jump directly to important areas of your course, edit your course, and even create activities or lessons just by pressing a few keys! To get started, press CTRL + K on Windows or CMD + K on Mac to open the command palette.

You only need to type in part of the command and Lingco will suggest the command you're looking for. For example, if you want to go to your course's roster you can type in "ro" and Lingco's first suggestion will be "Jump to Roster".

If the command you're looking for isn't first in the list, you can use the and arrow keys on your device to select the right one then press enter/return to issue the command.

That's all there is to it! Below you will find a list of all the commands available to you on Lingco Classroom.

All Palette Commands

  • Jump to Video Map - This command takes you to Lingco's global library of curated videos.
NOTE: If your district or organization's license doesn't include access to the global library, this command will not be available.

  • Jump to Course (course name) - This will take you to the course home page for (course name) if you are not on a course page (i.e. the content library).

  • Switch to Course (course name) - This will take you to the home page for (course name) if you are currently on a course page.

  • Jump to Modules - This will take you from other areas in a course (i.e. dashboard, gradebook, roster) back to the modules page.

  • Jump to Module - This will take you back to a module if you are previewing, editing, or viewing submissions for an activity, lesson, or vocab set within that module.

  • Jump to Submissions - If you're previewing an activity in your course, you can use this command to jump to student submissions on the activity.

Most of the commands below this line are self-explanatory, so we left out descriptions to keep this guide short and sweet. Some commands might not be available, depending on your level of permissions. If you need more clarification on how to use any commands, feel free to reach out using our support chat!
