Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Go to Your Course Roster

  • From your course homepage, click "ROSTER" on the right-hand panel under Manage Course.

2. Select the Student

  • Find the student in your roster.

  • Click on the student’s name to open their profile settings.

3. Set a Temporary Password

  • Click “Reset Password”.

  • Enter a temporary password of your choice (e.g., Temp2025!).

  • Confirm the password and save.

4. Have the Student Log In

  • Ask the student to refresh their screen (or reopen Lingco Classroom).

  • Have them log in using the temporary password you just set.

  • Once they log in, they will be prompted to create a new personal password.

💡 Tips for Instructors

  • Choose a temporary password that is secure and easy to communicate verbally if needed.

  • Remind the student to create a strong password with at least 8 characters, including upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and special symbols.

  • If multiple students need password resets, repeat the process individually per student.
