Follow the steps below to install Lingco as an LTI app in Schoology and verify that users can log in successfully.
Log in to your Schoology Administrator account, then navigate to the App Center and click on the Lingco Classroom App.
Click Install LTI 1.1 App and select Add to Organization
Click the Configure button.
We'll need to provide you with the Consumer Key and Shared Secret. If you're currently in contact with a Lingco representative, send them an email and ask for this information. You can also reach out to [email protected].
Once you've input the Consumer Key and Shared Secret, click Save settings.
You'll then click on the Install button and select what schools, organizations, etc. you want to add the Lingco LTI App to. Or, you can select all courses. Once you've made your selection(s), click Submit.
NOTE: Students will be using this for SSO so we want to leave "Course admins only" unselected.
Test the Lingco LTI App
You can impersonate a user (student or teacher), or use your own account to test the LTI app. Navigate to a course where the Lingco LTI is installed and click on Lingco Classroom on the left side navigation.
Ensure that you're able to:
Launch the app successfully
Create your Lingco account/log in without any errors
Verify that the user is correctly authenticated into Lingco with their Schoology credentials.
