Lingco is a modern web-based application. It runs in the browser, with nothing to install.

What you'll need
A stable internet connection with at least 4 Mbps download and 512 Kbps upload speeds
A screen size of at least 1280x720 pixels
Functioning speakers or headphones
A microphone, if your course includes speaking or pronunciation activities. A built-in mic works, but a headset gives much better results in a classroom.
A webcam, if your course includes video recording prompts
Note: Certain school network components, such as VPNs and firewalls, can impact the quality of audio and video files in Lingco. Please discuss this with your IT department if you discover such issues.
Domains and emails to whitelist
Course videos, audio, and images load from Lingco domains, and our account email is sent from them as well. If your school filters web or email traffic, IT will need to allow both.

The asterisk before .lingco.io is very important, since it accounts for any variation, such as class.lingco.io.
Checking a device
To confirm a specific computer is ready, open https://class.lingco.io/tech_check on it. No sign-in is needed. The page checks the browser, screen, network, speakers, microphone, and webcam, and tells you which one is failing.
